I thought this picture was very appropriate during the holiday season. I hope everyone did their shopping ahead of time because the roads and stores are absolutely packed. Practicing Patience will help you stay calm and more peaceful during a time that use to be stressful. Try to remember that this is a great time of the year to be with loved ones. Buying gifts should be fun because you know it will bring Happiness to people that you care about. I was in line today in a store and instead of stressing out and complaining that I was waiting around for 25 minutes, I decided to start talking to people around me. It was such a rewarding feeling to meet new people and to talk to them about their plans for the holidays. Instead of leaving the store angry and stressed, I left feeling much better and grateful that I took this opportunity to meet new people. Enjoy the time you have with people, instead of dreading certain situations. I hope you have a very nice, stress free day!

The Many Benefits of Exercise

There are so many Benefits from Exercise besides getting in better shape. There have been studies conducted that show that exercise may help with Depression. Physical activity releases chemicals called Endorphins. Endorphins trigger a positive feeling that is similar to Morphine without the addictive behaviors. After working out, people claim they have a euphoric feeling. With runners, it is called the runner’s high. Besides the euphoric feeling post exercise, a positive mood and energized outlook on life may also be felt.

Exercise boosts self-esteem, reduces stress, and improves sleep. As stated earlier, there are more benefits than people realize about exercising than just looking good in a bathing suit (even though still important). Exercise is one of the best ways to get out of a funk. You will feel better most of the time after the workout. So why not give it a shot? What do you have to lose? Besides body fat, a bad mood, and bad self-esteem.

Every second, every hour, every night, every day is a new beginning for you. Control the things in life that you can. Try not to dwell on the past and don’t overwhelm yourself with the future. Live in the moment and enjoy the blessings you are given. Each morning and day, you have the choice to make today a Great Day. Try to realize how lucky we are to be given a choice on how we want to live our lives. Be Grateful that today is a new day and that you can make it even better than yesterday. Progress, not perfection. Anything is possible if you believe in yourself. Today, make the most of every situation. This will ultimately lead to a much Happier, Healthier Life. Live with no regrets. Meaningful Monday: Be Happy with Simple Pleasures

I decided to bring back my Meaningful Mondays. After an incredibly rough weekend for everyone, I hope you have a better start to the week. I decided to use this picture today because I really liked the message “Be happy with simple pleasures.” If I have learned anything from this tragedy, it is to Cherish the People Around You. Don’t take the small things for granted. Enjoy the simple things in life and make the most out of each day. It is very difficult and courageous for a person to deal with a difficult time. One way that I have found helpful is to reach out to people and talk about the problem. Knowing that you are Loved and Supported, will make you feel better. It is better for people to talk about their feelings than to let it bottle up inside you. From personal experience, this is not an easy task, but it is so worth it in the end. My take home message from this is to Cherish Everything in your Life; family, friends, jobs, and everything that makes you happy. I wish you a better day today!

Don’t waste your Energy being fearful. Starting today, you have a choice to put your energy towards Reaching your Dreams or letting fear get in the way. I am not saying this is easy to do, but it seems like a simple decision when you really think about. Do you want to Achieve Greatness or let fear affect your future and hinder your success? Don’t quit before the miracle happens.  Do not close the door on Success. You never really know what you are capable of until you do everything in your power to push yourself and reach way beyond what you ever thought was possible.
