Finding your Happy Place

image

I thought about this quote a lot on my bike ride today in Tucson, AZ . I have realized that I always feel better during and after a ride. I use this knowledge to help me if I am stressed or in a bad mood. Being stressed or in a bad mood does make it harder in the beginning to start, but the way I feel afterwards makes pushing through the hard times well worth it. It really does work. This makes me think of the movie Happy Gilmore with Adam Sandler. He was always a better golfer when he thought about his “happy place”. Obviously, I know this is a comedy, but it really is true. It is true that you can’t buy happiness, but you can find things in your life to do that will make you happy, such as riding does for me. The way I look at is, what do you have to lose by giving this a try…… besides a bad mood and stress. Have a great, happy day 🙂
