Everything happens for a reason. Even if you don’t understand why certain situations happen, it is a part of your journey that will shape you into the person you want to become. Try to surround yourself with good people that love and care about you. People who will support you through thick and thin. People who will challenge you in order for you to become the best person you can be. Along your journey you will definitely be tested. In order to make every situation beneficial, whether good or bad, you must try to learn something along the way. To learn from your past (not dwell on it), will allow you to make for an even better future.  Every person, life lesson, and situation will ultimately make you the person you CHOOSE to be. It is and always will be your choice on how to deal with situations. There is always something positive in any given situation. Even though while you are going through something hard, try to take one good thing away from it. You can become anyone you want to be, as long as you stay true to yourself and have a positive mind set. Anything is possible if you believe!

I hope everyone is having a nice relaxing day today! No matter if you celebrate Christmas or not, I hope that you are with your family and friends having a great day. I woke up this morning and sat by the fire with my family. I love that I am given the opportunity to be home today and be with the people that I love and that love me. I honestly think there is no better feeling then to be surrounded with loved ones and enjoy the day together. No matter what your plans are today, I hope you make the most out of every situation. I want everyone to know that I am thinking about you and your loved ones and wish you the very best day today! For all the people that were affected by the Newtown tragedy, I hope you are doing okay during the holiday season. I can’t imagine what you are going through, but I want you to know that everyone is thinking about you and your family. Whether you are celebrating Christmas or going out for Chinese and movie; enjoy the moment. I wish you the very best.

There is always room for Improvement. “Whether you think you can or can’t, you’re right.” You CAN always make a situation better. This will take some effort on your part, but I truly believe that Anything is Possible. Try to change the way you look at a frustrating or “impossible” situation. It is your choice on how you respond to the given situation. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. If you are currently unhappy with something in your life; this is your chance to change things for the better. Positive Expectations (and hard work) will ultimately lead to a positive outcome. I thought this picture was very appropriate during the holiday season. I hope everyone did their shopping ahead of time because the roads and stores are absolutely packed. Practicing Patience will help you stay calm and more peaceful during a time that use to be stressful. Try to remember that this is a great time of the year to be with loved ones. Buying gifts should be fun because you know it will bring Happiness to people that you care about. I was in line today in a store and instead of stressing out and complaining that I was waiting around for 25 minutes, I decided to start talking to people around me. It was such a rewarding feeling to meet new people and to talk to them about their plans for the holidays. Instead of leaving the store angry and stressed, I left feeling much better and grateful that I took this opportunity to meet new people. Enjoy the time you have with people, instead of dreading certain situations. I hope you have a very nice, stress free day!

The Many Benefits of Exercise

There are so many Benefits from Exercise besides getting in better shape. There have been studies conducted that show that exercise may help with Depression. Physical activity releases chemicals called Endorphins. Endorphins trigger a positive feeling that is similar to Morphine without the addictive behaviors. After working out, people claim they have a euphoric feeling. With runners, it is called the runner’s high. Besides the euphoric feeling post exercise, a positive mood and energized outlook on life may also be felt.

Exercise boosts self-esteem, reduces stress, and improves sleep. As stated earlier, there are more benefits than people realize about exercising than just looking good in a bathing suit (even though still important). Exercise is one of the best ways to get out of a funk. You will feel better most of the time after the workout. So why not give it a shot? What do you have to lose? Besides body fat, a bad mood, and bad self-esteem.
